Whirlpool
The holiday home has a whirlpool in the garden. Its water temperature can be set between 26 and 40 degrees. Please note that the heating of the whirlpool can heat up the water by approx. 0.5 degrees per hour. You can find out what to bear in mind when using the pool here.
Before bathing
Before the whirlpool can be used, the lid must first be opened. To do this, simply open the locks on the front of the pool and fold the front part of the lid 180° onto the rear half of the lid. Then, from the side, you can fold the rear part of the lid onto the back of the pool by lifting it.
Attention:
The lid of the whirlpool tub is not a standing surface or a storage location. Damage to the lid or the pool may mean that you cannot use the pool during your stay. In addition, you will be charged the repair costs in the event of damage.
Bathing in the whirlpool
Before you start bathing, first check whether the three neck cushions are fastened.
Start the whirlpool by pressing the JETS
button. Press once to run the whirlpool at half power. If you press the JETS
button a second time, the whirlpool will run at full power. Now you only have to decide which jets you want to activate and whether air should also be pressed through the jets in addition to the water.
Attention:
Please note that the whirlpool should remain as clean as possible. Therefore, please follow the following basic rules:
- Please do not take any food into the whirlpool!
- Please enter the whirlpool with a clean body (cream residues, sandy feet etc.)!
- Please do not use any shower gels, shampoo or similar in the whirlpool!
- Take a shower before bathing (the garden shower is next to the swimming pool).
After bathing
When the bathing process is finished, stop the jets again by pressing the JETS
button.
After the last bath of the day, be sure to first add a tablespoon of chlorine granules
(from the built-in cupboard in the kitchen) to the water and start a cleaning process. To do this, press one of the two MODE
buttons repeatedly until CLEAN
appears in the display. Now press the +
key to start the cleaning process. After about 5 minutes, the cleaning process ends automatically. You therefore do not have to wait for it to finish and can close the pool cover at any time.
Attention:
Please note that chlorine should be added together with a cleaning process every day of use. You should also ensure that the cover of the whirlpool tub is always closed when it is not in use. This prevents the water from cooling down and no longer being at the desired temperature. Furthermore, this also prevents leaves and insects from getting into the pool and thus polluting the water and making the pool unusable for your stay.
Ensuring water quality
Checking the water quality is the responsibility of the pool attendant. However, in your own interest, you should keep an eye on it yourself and occasionally check whether the values are within the healthy range. The procedure is very simple:
First get the water analysis kit
from the built-in cupboard in the kitchen and fill the two water tubes up to the line
with water from the pool. Then drop the specified number of drops of the red bottle
into the right tube and the specified number of drops of the yellow bottle
into the left tube according to the package insert. Then place both lids on the tubes and shake the tubes. After a few seconds you can read from the scale whether the values for chlorine (yellow)
and pH (red)
are in the ideal range (marked on both scales).
If the chlorine
value is not high enough, please add about one tablespoon of chlorine granulate
to the water above the filter. If the pH value
is too high, please add about one tablespoon of pH reducer
to the water above the filter. Before adding chlorine granulate or pH reducer, be sure to switch on the pool's cleaning mode
(see previous section) to allow rapid distribution in the water.
Cleaning the filter
Cleaning the filter is the responsibility of the pool attendant. However, should it become necessary to clean the filter at some point, because even several cleaning processes of the pool do not result in clean water, this is relatively easy. First unscrew the cover of the filter. You can then remove the filter from the water. Now rinse the filter once with a garden hose in as many lamellas as possible and thus remove the coarsest dirt from the filter. After cleaning the filter, you can put it back into the pool and screw on the cover.
Note for heavy soiling:
Should the filter ever become very dirty, so that the water quality also drops, you can proceed as follows.
Remove the filter from the whirlpool tub as described. However, now place it in a bucket of warm water and also add a dishwashing tab. Leave the filter in this liquid for some time and turn it over in between. Then rinse the filter thoroughly between the fins with the garden hose and replace it. Now start one or more cleaning processes in the whirlpool as described above.
